Noël au Théâtre 2016

Between 26 and 30 December 2016, the 35th edition of Noël au Théâtre will take place in Brussels. This winter celebration of performing arts for young audiences is organised yearly by the CTEJ (Chambre des Théâtres pour l’Enfance et la Jeunesse) and it is a perfect occasion to discover theatre for young audiences in the French-speaking part of Belgium. During the festival, 20 different productions will be staged (of which 8 are new creations). The programme also contains readings and work in progress. The whole programme will take place in 9 different theatres in Brussels. Among the new creations is Alex au pays des poubelles by XL Production/Maria Clara Villa Lobos, a choreographic performance in which Alex embarks on adventures between the piles of waste that we produce … Another creation is Josette by Cie Arts & Couleurs, the story of a little girl who is a bit different, and who was born in 1940 in the small village Muno in the South of Belgium. One actress and a range of objects will stage a story of loneliness and suffering, but also of hope and resilience …
